Our reusable Nespresso® capsules are made from food-grade stainless steel certified for food contact. Stainless steel does not rust, does not absorb flavors or odors, and can withstand hundreds of uses without deteriorating. Each CAPS’ME stainless steel capsule is designed to withstand over 1,000 uses. At one cup of coffee a day, that’s more than two and a half years of coffee enjoyment from a single capsule. No warping, no rust, and no loss of flavor.
The compostable paper lid¹: the secret to optimal extraction and perfect foam
This is the key innovation that our competitors lack. Our cornstarch paper lids, made in France, perform exactly like an original lid: they yield under pressure at just the right moment, allowing pressure to build properly inside the capsule and producing a dense, creamy foam. The reusable metal lids offered by some competitors do not allow for this pressure build-up and produce a mediocre foam. We are the only ones to offer thesecompostable¹ paper-based lidsmade in France.
The patented shaker: fills in 15 seconds, no mess
The CAPS’ME shaker is protected by two patents and is the result of over 100 prototypes. It measures and tamps your ground coffee in a single step: place the capsule, pour in the coffee, shake, and put the lid on. No spoon, no coffee spilled on the countertop, no extra tamper. Your coffee ritual becomes quick, clean, and convenient.

How it works
How to use and fill your Nespresso® reusable capsule?
The CAPS’ME innovation is all about simplicity. In just 5 steps, your refillable capsule is ready in 15 seconds—just as fast as a disposable capsule.
Step 1: Choose the right ground coffee (grind size and roast)
Choose an espresso grind (particle size between 400 and 500 microns) and a well-roasted coffee. This is essential for producing an aromatic coffee with body and crema. At the supermarket, look for the word “espresso” on the packaging. For guaranteed results, use CAPS’ME ground coffee: ground to 400 microns, 100% Arabica, roasted in Strasbourg.
Step 2: Measure out and pack with the CAPS’ME shaker
Insert your reusable capsule into the shaker’s compartment. Pour your ground coffee into the top compartment, slide the capsule into place, and shake vertically. The patented mechanism measures out approximately 5 g of coffee and tamps it to the right density—cleanly, without making a mess—in less than 15 seconds. No spoon, no tamper: the right density is guaranteed every time for optimal extraction.
Step 3: Place the paper lid
Apply a CAPS’ME paper seal to your capsule like a sticker: it sticks easily and stays in place perfectly. The seal breaks under the machine’s pressure at just the right moment, allowing the pressure to build properly and releasing the body, aromas, and foam into your cup. This is the feature our customers appreciate most: coffee with a real crema, just like at the café.
Step 4: Insert it into your machine and start the extraction
Insert the refilled capsule into your machine exactly as you would an original capsule. Close the lever and start your usual brewing cycle. The pre-pierced CAPS’ME capsule fits perfectly into the mechanism of your Nespresso® Original & L'Or Barista®* compatible machine without any strain and without risking damage to the needles.
Step 5: Remove, rinse, and put away
Once brewing is complete, remove the used filter (it comes off easily) and simply rinse your stainless steel capsule under hot water. Ten seconds is all it takes. Food-grade stainless steel doesn’t absorb flavors or residues, so your next cup of coffee will be just as fresh as the first.

Our reusable capsules are designed for machines compatible with Nespresso® Original & L'Or Barista®* machines, which includes the vast majority of Nespresso® Original & L'Or Barista®* machines sold since 2010. Of our 100,000 customers, 99% had a compatible machine. Our capsules are pre-pierced: your machine’s needles do not have to exert extra force during extraction, so there is no risk of damage to your machine.
Nespresso® Vertuo: Why isn't this system compatible?
Nespresso® Vertuo* machines use centrifugal extraction technology (Centrifusion™) that reads a barcode on each capsule. This proprietary system is fundamentally different from the Original* system and does not allow the use of universal reusable capsules. Our CAPS’ME capsules are not compatible with Nespresso® Vertuo* machines.

Are these capsules compatible with my machine?
Our stainless steel capsules are designed to work with Nespresso® Original machines or L'Or Barista®.
They are not compatible with systems that use a different capsule format (size, hole, pressure). To avoid any mistakes, please make sure your machine is set to the Nespresso® Original* system (not Vertuo).
These capsules are not compatible with Nespresso Vertuo®*, Nescafé® Dolce Gusto®* , or Senseo® machines .
How do you clean them after use?
It's very simple: blow into the pre-perforated section to eject the coffee grounds. Then, rinse them under a gentle stream of water or put them in the dishwasher.
Will the capsules damage my machine?
No! Our bobbins are pre-punched so that your machine's needles don't have to exert extra force when removing them.
They are also slightly smaller to protect your machine. Made of food-grade stainless steel, they are indestructible and safe.
